- Track confirmation and your supplied balance. Use Withdraw to return USDC to the same wallet.
Is this a bank deposit?
No. Aave is an on-chain lending protocol. Smart-contract failures, bad debt, oracle issues, USDC depegging and protocol governance can cause losses. Deposit insurance is not provided.
Can I withdraw immediately?
Only if the reserve has liquidity and your account meets Aave’s rules. Frozen deposits can still permit withdrawals; paused reserves can block both. Existing borrowing may limit withdrawals.
Why a separate Base page?
Base has its own USDC contract, Aave pool, receipt token, gas costs and liquidity. Base is an Ethereum layer 2; you need ETH on Base and Base USDC. Ethereum USDC cannot be deposited here directly. Check this page’s exact contracts before sending funds.
