A range defines where liquidity is active

In a concentrated liquidity pool, a position supplies liquidity within a selected price range. While the pool trades within that range, active liquidity can earn swap fees. Outside it, the position stops contributing active liquidity until the price returns. The token composition changes as trades move through the range.

Read the price direction first

A price such as 2,000 can mean units of one token per unit of another. Reversing the pair changes the numerical range. Verify the token contracts, quote direction, pool fee tier and rounded bounds in the review. Token symbols alone do not identify a pool.

Out of range does not mean the position disappeared

An out-of-range position usually holds one side of the pair within the concentrated liquidity accounting. It can still have value and previously earned fees. It should remain visible in the positions list. A failed RPC read is a separate unavailable state and must not be interpreted as either in range or out of range.

Collected tokens are not always all earnings

Collectable amounts can contain accumulated fees and principal released by an earlier liquidity removal. Compare the action history before treating the entire collection as income. Adding liquidity, removing liquidity and collecting owed tokens are different operations with their own reviews and network costs.

Changing a range changes the position

An existing position has fixed bounds. Moving liquidity into another range generally involves removing it and creating a new position, with possible token swaps between the steps. A narrower range concentrates exposure; it does not guarantee higher realized returns. Price movement, fee income, gas and the assets held after withdrawal all affect the result.

Use the exact network workspace

Bitpont’s supported liquidity workflow manages positions in existing Uniswap V3 pools. Select the correct network and verify both token addresses. Inspect the current pool and position before preparing an action, then check the confirmed transaction and updated position afterwards.
