Keeper processing is separate from network gas. Unused execution fees are handled by the protocol.

Wallet approval first. Keeper execution follows. A confirmed request does not mean a filled trade.

How Arbitrum perpetual orders work

Review the request

Confirm collateral, position size, direction, price limit and keeper fee. Wallet simulation checks request creation; it cannot guarantee a future fill.

Follow execution

The request remains pending until a keeper executes or cancels it. Conditional orders remain open until execution or cancellation; there is no automatic expiry in this workspace. Triggers use the GMX oracle, which can differ from the chart. A price gap can skip a stop or violate its price bound, leaving it unfilled. Cancellation may require a protocol waiting period.

Manage the position

Use market or limit entries, and set take-profit or stop-loss reductions on supported ETH and BTC positions with USDC. Partial reductions retain collateral; a full close requests its return after settlement. Leverage can cause liquidation.
