Prepare before opening a ticket

  1. Check the site and wallet. Open Bitpont from a saved address. Use Connect wallet and choose the intended account. Confirm its public address in the wallet. Bitpont does not need your recovery phrase or private key.
  2. Check the network. Swap supports Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain and Avalanche. Perps uses Solana; Earn offers Solana products plus Ethereum and Base USDC markets. Bridge has separate source and destination networks. A token with the same name on another network is a different asset.
  3. Keep funds for transaction costs. Solana actions need SOL for network fees and sometimes account rent. EVM swaps, Bridge sources and Earn actions need the selected network’s native gas asset. Do not assume selling your entire token balance leaves enough gas.
  4. Read the relevant walkthrough. Start with the guide for your chosen action below. You can browse instructions and directories without connecting; fresh quotes and account actions need working live services.
  5. Review, sign and verify. Read Bitpont’s review and then the wallet’s transaction. After signing, check transaction status and the resulting balance, order or position. A button click alone is not completion.

Wallet funds and Perps collateral are separate

A wallet can hold SOL, USDC or USDT without those tokens being deposited as Perps collateral. Conversely, a connected Velocity subaccount may already have usable collateral from earlier activity. Bitpont reads that existing account; connecting does not require a new deposit every time. Check the selected subaccount, equity, free collateral, positions and orders before deciding whether to fund it.

Follow one complete workflow

If something stops working

Keep the exact message and any transaction signature. A chart failure does not establish that trading failed. A pending transaction needs a status check before another submission. Use transaction recovery to distinguish the states.

Keep track across products

Wallets & portfolio has separate Overview, Holdings, Earn positions, Limit orders, Perps, Activity and Solana insights pages. The overview loads wallet subtotals and position/order counts with per-section coverage. Failed reads retain last known data; use Refresh to retry. Use Wallets in the portfolio header to add, switch or disconnect providers. The network breakdown opens the matching Holdings view. Reset filters restores all connected wallets and networks without changing the signing wallet. In Holdings, press / to focus search, Escape to clear it, or choose Compact or Comfortable spacing. The private section menu appears after a wallet connects. Use the network and wallet selectors to distinguish spendable assets from protocol positions. A local activity record covers this browser’s tracked actions; it is not a complete tax or chain-history ledger.
