How to Swap Tokens on Bitpont
Choose exact Solana assets, review a fresh quote and check the received tokens.

Before you swap
Have the input token in the selected Solana wallet and keep SOL for fees and possible account setup. A directory listing identifies a pair; it does not promise liquidity. You can request a quote before connecting a wallet.
Make a market swap
- Open the pair. Open Swap or a pair page from Spot markets. Select the token to sell and the token to buy. Check both exact mint addresses; use Paste a token address when searching by identity.
- Enter the input amount. Choose the Market tab and enter the amount in Sell. Buy estimated is an output estimate. Percentage and Max controls do not remove the need to retain enough SOL for costs.
- Request the route. Select Get quote. Review the route, estimated received amount, minimum received, price impact, slippage setting and fees. Refresh after changing the amount, pair or settings.
- Connect and review. Check the wallet address, then select Swap. If optional collection-account setup is required, read its separate cost review. Completing setup spends its fees and does not itself execute a swap; request a fresh quote afterwards.
- Approve the wallet transaction. Read the wallet prompt and approve only the intended operation. If simulation fails before signing, there is no successful swap to expect from that attempt.
- Verify the result. Check the transaction status, then refresh wallet holdings and confirm the output token and amount. Keep the signature if the result is pending or unknown.
Read the price in the correct units
A SOL-to-USDC quote estimates USDC received for your entered SOL. Reversing the pair changes the input asset and produces a new quote. The chart may use the exact pair, input-token USD candles or a sampled reference line; its label tells you which. It is not the executable output for your amount.
What minimum received means
The estimate can change before execution. Minimum received is the threshold applied to the quoted swap under its settings. It does not guarantee success, remove network costs or promise that any trade size can execute. See the worked quote example.
Find any listed counterpart
Spot Markets has numbered pages and search. Select All [token] pairs to open that token’s counterpart directory, then choose either direction. Later pages use the same retained catalogue as the first page. Saved identities remain browsable during a registry outage; execution is checked only with a new quote.
If a route fails
Do not increase slippage automatically. Check amount, gas balance and the exact error. A reported custom program number is not meaningful without its program context. Bitpont may offer a reviewed alternative route after an identified unsigned simulation failure. Check the new route and output before trying again.
