Lending creates exposure to a reserve

Supplying SOL through Jupiter Lend funds a lending reserve. Your position reflects interest and reserve conditions. A withdrawal requests underlying SOL and depends on the protocol’s current limits.

Staking exchanges SOL for a pool receipt

Jito staking gives you JitoSOL. Rewards and possible losses affect the pool exchange value; the token count does not need to increase. A staking receipt can trade at a different market price from its pool redemption value.

Separate the exit routes

Direct redemption and a spot swap are different operations. Redemption depends on the pool’s supported withdrawal liquidity. A swap depends on a route, its price and slippage. Keep some SOL uncommitted for either route’s fees.
